For the delivery of its first-ever cricket program, NEOM has teamed with Rajasthan Royals, one of the top T20 cricket teams in India.
The historic pilot program seeks to promote an active and healthy lifestyle among the expanding workforce, which is expected to number 60,000 by the end of the year. The Rajasthan Royals, a world-famous cricket club that was founded in 2008 and is from Jaipur, Rajasthan, are known throughout the world for their academies and community foundation activities.

Manoj Badale, the primary owner of the Rajasthan Royals, traveled to the region to celebrate the cooperation. He met the CEO, Nadhmi Al-Nasr, local residents, and participated in a number of cricket practices.
The cricket program will emphasize diversity and is a reflection of the Royals’ dedication to advancing cricket’s growth and innovation on a global scale.
Cricket has emerged as one of the project’s most well-liked sports, drawing increased participation and an increasing number of spectators from those working on-site. The development already employs thousands of people.
The forthcoming initiative aims to be a cutting-edge sports destination, working with major sports companies, promoting liveability for its citizens, and bolstering its burgeoning economy.
The new alliance will add to the region’s dedication to fostering an energetic and healthy neighborhood.
Prince Saud bin Mishal Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation, said: “It’s important that we develop a thriving cricket ecosystem that can be enjoyed by everyone. We are excited to see NEOM’s cricket program partnered by Rajasthan Royals offer that, while also contributing to the growth of the sport in the Kingdom.”
Jan Paterson, Managing Director of NEOM Sport, added: “NEOM is committed to nurturing the most physically active society globally and our partnership with the Royals is the latest step in making that vision a reality.
“Cricket is already a hugely popular sport in NEOM and we want to capture and nurture that enthusiasm and make sure it is being felt throughout the region.
“Working with the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation and the Royals will enable us to provide cricket for men and women, girls and boys alike, in the community at NEOM.”
