The NEOM McLaren Formula E Team unites two businesses committed to utilizing innovation to build a more active and sustainable future.
On January 27 and 28, Diriyah will host Rounds 2 and 3 of Season 9 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
Saudi Arabia, Kingdom of, NEOM, January 25, 2023 – This weekend’s Diriyah E-Prix is an opportunity for the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team to build on its great start to the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship campaign.
Jake Hughes and René Rast competed in their debut race for the newly created NEOM McLaren Formula E Team in Mexico City two weeks ago, finishing in fifth and eighteenth place, respectively. This weekend, the focus will be on the Diriyah E-Prix, which will take place over two days on January 27 and 28, racing around the historic UNESCO World Heritage Site in Diriyah.
The partnership between NEOM and McLaren Racing unites two organizations dedicated to building a brighter future and making a difference on and off the racetrack. The collaboration bolsters NEOM’s mission to become the world’s physically active society. This goal can be further thanks to the establishment of NEOM McLaren Electric Racing, which consists of the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team and the NEOM McLaren Extreme E Team. Additionally, the relationship supports Saudi Vision 2030.
