Trojena is in the Sarawat Mountains, about 30 miles (50 km) from the city. This area has a semi-arid climate, but it’s mountainous, which means it can have snow in winter. Trojena is part of the larger $500 billion Neom project, which aims to create a futuristic city in the desert. Trojena is a futuristic ski resort that offers year-round outdoor skiing and adventure sports. About 7,000 people will live in Trojena as permanent residents.
