Utamo, an immersive center for art and entertainment situated in the mountains surrounding the Gulf of Aqaba coast, was unveiled by NEOM. Part of NEOM’s regional development in northwest Saudi Arabia, Utamo is positioned as a unique event space for music, art, fashion, and theater. It provides a unique setting for concerts, exhibitions, and art activations.
Utamo, which blends technology and natural beauty, is a place where architecture and art come together to create a unique experience. Visitors will reach Utamo by a garden promenade with more than fifty varieties of flowers, herbs, and shrubs, which will take them to a majestic hall that rises to a height of 64 meters.
Performances and immersive art pieces will be possible at the location. The goal of Utamo as a theater of the future is the creation of interactive sensory experiences using advanced audio-visual technology.
With performances by top international performers, Utamo aims to establish itself as one of the world’s most premium event venues with its multipurpose performance space, VIP lounges, and trademark eateries.
The project, which follows Leyja, Epicon, and Siranna late this year as NEOM’s newest tourism destination scheduled for 2023, attempts to minimize involvement with the surrounding nature.
